It changes our vision of the world. Recent studies described in the two articles mentioned above show how language shapes our thoughts and the way we see the world. Concepts like gender, time and space are different. Even colors and the way people report facts are different depending on the language they speak. Isn’t it worth to accept the challenge of learning a language and of understanding other cultures? Cassia Silva |
